Introduction about helix silo:
Fabricated by good quality hot-dip galvanized steel sheet(mass of Zn coat could be: 275g/㎡、350g/㎡、450g/㎡), adopt latest technical unit, strong rigidity and high accuracy. The diameter of helix silo could varied from φ4m toφ22m, height of straight part could varied from 2m to 20m, the storage volume could varied from 40m³ to 8000m³.
Temperature measuring system, ventilation system, indicator level system, circulation fumigation system inside the silo could be optional according to customer's need.
Based on the carried material, the silo could be divided into: maize steel silo, soybean steel silo, wheat steel silo, barley steel silo, sorghum steel silo, soybean meal steel silo, sawdust steel silo, biomass pellet steel silo. Also we can customized flour steel silo, cement steel silo, building materials steel silo;
Based on the hopper type, the silo could be divided into: concrete flat bottom steel silo, concrete cone hopper steel silo, steel structure support steel silo(single silo capacity should less than 1500T) .
This project is 4-200T soybean cake storage project; the technological characteristics are as follows:
The main materials in silo are soybean cake or other cake material, silo type is helix silo with diameter ￠6m, the height of the straight part is 12m, and the base is steel support.
The main process: unloading- storage- discharging
1) unloading process is single side loading, the grizzly cannot carry the truck, single sided of dumping hoper is equipped with de-dusting system to improve the working condition.
2) storage process is 4-200T soybean cake helix silo: the capacity for inlet is 40TPH, anti-arch device is equipped on the bottom of steel cone to prevent material arch.
3) based on the material discharging properties, we choose multi-shaft dosing screw for discharging, the speed is 20TPH
Features of the engineering process design:
1) large angle for steel cone ,the cone angel could be 65degree
2)high quality H type steel is used for steel support, 6pcs for each silo
3) air cannon is designed on the steel cone based on the poor fluidity of soybean cake to prevent the cake arch inside the cone
4)silo body is spiral type, so there is no material accumulation inside the silo wall
For different projects and different customer requirements, the process will be also different, the following could be options during the process design:
(1) in this process design, the unloading is one-sided, which can be designed as two sides unloading according to customer requirements
(2) the capacity for each soybean cake silo can be decided by customer's need(single silo capacity cannot larger than 250T)
(3) the steel support could be changed to concrete structure as customer's need
(4) customers can choose helix silo or bolt silo according to their own needs.
